Sun Damaged Skin: Rely on Natural Skin Products

by Aileen Fitzharris

Young skin is very resilient and bounces back from damage very quickly. Nevertheless, there are certain situations that are cumulative and will not show up until many years later, such as sun exposure. So, don't abuse the sun because it may come back to haunt you.

Sun damage is one of the biggest factors to promote premature aging. Once you hit your thirties you'll start to see the effects of sun exposure. You will begin to notice dryness, dark spots and wrinkles.

Even though sun damage cannot be undone you can do a few things to treat the lesser damage or simply mask some of the signs of premature aging.

Natural skin products are an excellent option for keeping your skin from going through more damage. These products usually contain high levels of antioxidants to neutralize the free radicals caused by sun exposure. The search for and effective wrinkle creams isn't easy, but all you really need to know that any product containing a few essential ingredients will greatly help improve the damage caused by excessive solar exposure. The ingredients include potent antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and Helix Aspersa Muller extract, just to name a few.

However, lotions and creams are not the only way you can help control premature aging due to sun exposure. First of all, sunscreen is the best "anti aging cream" you can have in your medicine cabinet.

Before going out of your house you should apply a sunscreen that has an SPF of at least 30. This should be done thirty minutes before going outside. Once outside, make sure that you reapply every 45 minutes to maintain your skin protected. If you don't want to reapply so frequently, then you can purchase a sunscreen with a higher SPF.

When you go outside you should wear protective garments. Garments such as wide brimmed hats and long sleeved shirts are a good way to minimize sun exposure. If you can't conceive not having a tan during summer, then you should use a spray-on tan or a self-tanning lotion.

Anti aging skin care isn't just about using topical creams and lotions. A healthy diet can also help your skin look younger. Incorporate plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, and water to keep your skin hydrated.

Fresth fruits and vegetables contain antioxidants that help neutralize free radicals. Other foods that you should include in your diet are and lean proteins (such as fish) and whole grains.

Some foods that are notoriously high in antioxidants are blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. The antioxidant properties of berries are so beneficial that these fruits have even made their way into some of the best natural skin care products.

BIOSKINREJUVENATION is a natural skin care product that helps control the production of melanin. This anti aging lotion contains snail serum as a main ingredient, which is a great moisturizer for sun damaged and aged skin. It also contains hyaluronic acid which makes it an excellent wrinkles cream.
